4. Teddy Roosevelt’s Shotgun -$873,000
Another famous gun that belonged to a famous person. This time it was the President Teddy Roosevelt’s shotgun.
The President’s shotgun is called A.H. Fox 12- gauge side-by-side and the gun belonged to him since he left for Cuba in 1898.
The shotgun traveled to Africa and on a statement he gave about it he said: “It is the most beautiful gun I have ever seen…I am almost ashamed to take it to Africa and expose it to the rough usage it will receive,” he wrote to Ansley Fox. “But now that I have it, I could not possibly make up my mind to leave it behind.”
Now, on October 5, a lucky bidder with big pockets will take home the beautiful gun.
