7. NHIndustries NH90 NFH ($39 million)
NH90 NFH is a medium-sized, twin-engine, multi-role military helicopter manufactured by NHIndustries. It is a company owned by Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo Helicopters, and Fokker Aerostructures as appointed by NATO.
This helicopter is the most modern and best naval helicopter in its class. It is designed to do its mission even in the harshest weather condition. It is capable of completing missions like search and rescue, logistic and vertical replenishment, casualty or medical evacuation, and maritime surveillance or sea police. And through time, it is also used in special operations like counter-terrorism and anti-piracy.
It comes in two turboshaft engine options: two Roll-Royce Turbomeca RTM322-01/9 or General Electric T700-T6E. Both can take you up to six thousand meters high, 800 kilometers far, with 300 kph maximum speed.
It can accommodate up to 14 passengers. But those used by several national armies accommodate only around seven passengers on warfare mode. Each unit of NH90 NFH is sold at around $39 million.
