8- Mountain climbing
Mountain climbing is clearly an expensive hobby. It only requires money and guts.
Now that you checked those, you need a destination. And where else you’d go other than Mount Everest?
Climbing Everest can be fun, especially if you are looking for adventure, but that doesn’t come cheap.
What makes Everest a premier human experience and a place for everyone to explore, are the short climbs, the Sherpa guidance and weeks of camaraderie at base camps.
This hobby will leave you without $25,000-$60,000, depending if you are by yourself or in a group. Let’s not add to that the climbing equipment and the fee associated with some climbing permits.
But don’t let that keep you from experience adventure.
