The Mark’s penthouse takes the top two floors, with about 10,000 square feet inside and about 2,500 square feet of rooftop terrace, a dining room for 12 and four fireplaces, according to the hotel’s page. The page lists no price and tells guests to call. The $75,000 a night figure comes from news reports, including a 2020 report that the owner said the rate is fixed, and from the November 2024 reopening coverage that compared it with the Four Seasons.
How we valued it: reported rate, not listed by the hotel, so treat it as an approximate marker.
3. Two adjoining suites at Aman New York: $36,000
Aman New York opened in the Crown Building in August 2022 with entry rooms at $3,200 a night, and the New York Times reported a $36,000 a night package for two adjoining suites plus a half day in a private spa. Reported rates for the single Aman Suite run lower, and one luxury listing quotes it from about $14,645 a night. We could not verify that figure on the hotel’s own site.
How we valued it: price reported at the August 2022 opening. It is a package, not a single suite, so it is the most dated figure in the list.
4. Presidential Suite, Mandarin Oriental: about $21,800
The hotel’s own listing for the suite shows an average nightly rate of about USD 21,814. The page text did not load for us, so we are relying on the figure as it appeared in a search summary of the page.

5. New York Skyline Suite, Mandarin Oriental: about $10,900
