The most expensive hotel suite in Paris with a reported rate is Les Grands Appartements at the Hôtel de Crillon, reported at $52,000 a night in 2024. Le Bristol’s Imperial Suite, reported at 30,000 euros a night in September 2022, is next. Paris palace hotels rarely print suite prices, so we rank the rates that were stated by the hotel or reported in dated coverage of a specific stay or price rise. Nightly rates change with the calendar, and every figure here is a marker for its date.
| Rank | Suite | Reported rate per night | Date and source type |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Les Grands Appartements, Hôtel de Crillon | $52,000 | Jun to Jul 2024, news reports |
| 2 | Imperial Suite, Le Bristol | EUR 30,000 | Sep 2022, news report |
| 3 | 190 square metre suite, Le Royal Monceau | $27,000 | Olympic Games 2024 booking, news report |
| 4 | Imperial Suite, Ritz Paris | from EUR 11,000 | Nov 2010, press release (dated) |
1. Les Grands Appartements, Hôtel de Crillon: $52,000
The Crillon sits on Place de la Concorde. Reports in mid 2024 described its Les Grands Appartements at 335 square metres and $52,000 a night, and one report called it the most expensive suite in the world, though that claim is disputed by other coverage.
How we valued it: nightly rate in news reports of June and July 2024. We did not find a rate on the hotel’s own pages.
2. Imperial Suite, Le Bristol: 30,000 euros
In September 2022 a report said the top suite at Le Bristol had risen by 5,000 euros to 30,000 euros a night, up 20%, for the week of 29 August. Entry rooms rose by 300 euros to 2,290 euros. The hotel’s marketing director linked the rise to a record summer and the return of American visitors.
How we valued it: rate reported for the week of 29 August 2022. It may have changed since.
3. 190 square metre suite, Le Royal Monceau: $27,000
For the 2024 Olympic Games, a 190 square metre suite at Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris was reported as booked for the full duration of the Games at $27,000 a night.
How we valued it: event rate for one booking, reported in April 2024, so it is a peak-demand price. Outside events the hotel’s signature suites were reported in the low thousands of euros.
4. Imperial Suite, Ritz Paris: from 11,000 euros
The Ritz’s most expensive suite, with four large rooms, was listed from 11,000 euros a night in a November 2010 press release by a hotel marketing group. The hotel reopened in 2016 after a renovation, and current guides quote far higher figures, but we found no dated rate from the hotel itself.
How we valued it: the 2010 floor rate, kept as the only dated source. Treat it as a minimum, not today’s price.
Also reported, not ranked
At the Hôtel de Crillon’s 2017 reopening, press reports put the Bernstein Suite at 20,000 to 25,000 euros a night. We saw that figure only in a search summary, so it is hedged here. Other hotels, including Plaza Athénée, Four Seasons George V and Mandarin Oriental Paris, appear in guides with suite prices that disagree with each other, and we found no dated stay or hotel-stated rate to support them.
What drives these prices
- Event demand: Fashion Week, the Olympics and the summer season lift top rates by a fifth or more.
- Location: Place de la Concorde, Place Vendôme and Avenue Montaigne set the floor.
- Size: the top suites run to hundreds of square metres with private terraces and staff.
