3. Marley & Me (2008) – $60 million
This movie is the only one on this list that I haven’t seen.
Why? Simply because I can’t find the courage and the mood to see it. You will need a lot of tissues for it.
The American comedy-drama movie is about the dog, Marley. Directed by David Frankel the movie was based on the memoir of the same name by John Grogan.
When was released in the U.S. and Canada on December 2008, the movie set a record for the largest Christmas Day box office ever with $14.75 million in tickets sales.
