The most expensive Labubu ever sold is a 131 cm mint-green, first-generation figure that hammered at 1.08 million yuan and cost its buyer about $171,000 with fees at Yongle Auction in Beijing on June 10, 2025. That is roughly 10,000 times the price of a blind box in China. This list ranks the highest verified auction prices for Labubu, then separates them from the resale listings and asking prices that fill the internet, as of October 2026.
| Rank | Item | Price (USD) | Sale date | Sold at |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | Skater Labubu, Pop Mart x Vans | About $10,500 | 2025 | eBay (resale) |

| 4 | Sacai x Seventeen collaboration Labubu | $7,000 to $31,000 (reports differ) | 2025, date not confirmed | Joopiter |
| 3 | Three Wise Men set, resold | About $71,000 hammer | June 2025 | Yongle Auction, Beijing |
| 2 | Brown Labubu sculpture, 160 cm | About $132,000 (estimate with fees) | June 2025 | Yongle Auction, Beijing |
| 1 | Mint-green first-generation Labubu, 131 cm | About $171,000 | June 2025 | Yongle Auction, Beijing |
6. Skater Labubu, Pop Mart x Vans: about $10,500
This is a resale sale, not an auction. A Skater Labubu from a 2023 Pop Mart collaboration with Vans was reported to have sold for about $10,500 on an online marketplace. The listing price of a blind box that started life at a few tens of dollars is what makes it a story.
We list it because it is the highest resale price we could find, but a single listing is a thin basis for a market price. We would expect asking prices to run well ahead of what buyers pay.
5. The same set at Sotheby’s: about $26,000
Sotheby’s Hong Kong had sold the set earlier for HK$203,200, about $26,000. We could not confirm the date of that sale in the sources we opened. The jump to 510,000 yuan afterwards is a gain of more than double.
We include it because it is a verified sale at a major international house, and because it shows how fast prices moved in 2025.
4. Sacai x Seventeen collaboration Labubu: $7,000 to $31,000
A line of designer-edition Labubus produced with fashion brand Sacai and the Korean group Seventeen was sold through the Joopiter platform. One report puts a single piece at $31,250. Another says pieces went for $7,000 to $11,000 each, with $337,500 across 14 pieces, which implies an average well above that.
Because the reports disagree, we show the range instead of a single number, and we did not open the platform’s results. Treat this entry as indicative.
3. Three Wise Men set, resold: about $71,000
A set of three sculptures that had changed hands once before came back to market in the same Beijing session and sold for 510,000 yuan. That is about $71,000 at the time, before premium.
It is the clearest case in this list of a Labubu being re-sold at a profit at auction, which is the number resale-minded buyers care about.
2. Brown Labubu sculpture, 160 cm: about $132,000
The runner-up in that session was a 160 cm brown Labubu, one of 15 made. It hammered at 820,000 yuan, and reports put the price with commission at about $132,000. We have only seen the dollar estimate reported, so treat it as approximate.
It is bigger than the record holder and cheaper, which says something about how much the green colour and the first-generation label matter.
Our number comes from the hammer and a reported figure with commission.
1. Mint-green first-generation Labubu, 131 cm: about $171,000
Yongle catalogued it as the sole piece in existence, a human-sized version of the original mint-green figure, and the room treated it that way. The hammer was 1.08 million yuan, and with the auction house’s premium the total reached 1.242 million yuan, or about $171,000. Some reports round it to $150,000 or $170,000, which is a currency and fee question rather than a disagreement.
The sale was a dedicated Labubu session on June 10, 2025, when the character was at the peak of its global craze. All 48 lots sold, and the session took in about 3.7 million yuan in hammer sales. Nothing sold since has beaten this lot at a verified auction.
We rank it on the hammer plus premium, using two reports that agree on both figures.
Records set in 2025 and 2026
The whole record set is from 2025, because that is when Labubu mania peaked and when the auction houses took notice. We found no Labubu result through October 2026 at Sotheby’s, Christie’s or Phillips that beat June’s Beijing sale, and no verified 2026 result above $26,000.
The signal in 2026 is a cooling market. We found no new headline resale price from 2026, and the numbers still quoted online date from the summer of 2025. A market that stops producing records for a year is usually telling you something.
A bubble with a ceiling
The figures above come from a short window. Labubu went from a niche character created by artist Kasing Lung to a bag charm on celebrities in about a year, and the auction results arrived in the middle of the rush. Collectibles that spike in this way tend to have two kinds of buyers: fans who want the toy, and speculators who want the next buyer. Auction records mostly record the second group at its most confident.
The pieces most likely to keep their value are the ones with real scarcity, like a one-of-one giant or an artist collaboration with documented numbers. Mass-produced blind box figures face a supply that Pop Mart controls and can expand. If the company makes more, secondary prices fall, which is exactly what happens with every fad toy once the queue disappears. Our reading is that the ceiling is the size of the biggest lot, not the average figure.
Retail context
The character is sold in blind boxes by Pop Mart. A typical box is priced in the low tens of dollars, and one report cites about $14 in China. A rare chase variant has been reported on the secondary market at up to 2,300 yuan, around $320, about 20 times retail. A resale of $100,000 or more therefore needs scarcity of a different order: a unique size, a first-generation colour, or an auction house catalogue essay.
How to tell a sale from a listing
Most Labubu prices you see online are asking prices. A seller can type any number into a marketplace, and screenshots of five-figure listings travel further than the quiet sales at a tenth of the price. We only rank prices where a lot closed at an auction house, and we label the resale figure on this list as what it is, one reported sale.
Fees matter too. Chinese auction houses add a buyer’s premium to the hammer, and the difference on the top lot is about 160,000 yuan. When you compare a record from one site with another, check whether it is the hammer or the total.
What drives these prices
- One of one. The two record lots are oversized pieces, not boxed toys. Anything sold in the millions of units cannot reach six figures.
- Auction-house framing. A catalogue entry and a premium turn a toy into art. The same object in a resale chat room sells for far less.
- Peak attention. The record sale happened as Labubu was on every phone. Brand fevers fade, and the sales that happen at the peak are the ones that get remembered.
- Thin evidence. Only a handful of verified sales exist, so one high lot sets the whole market’s top. That makes the record fragile.
