Aand the most expensive lingerie piece is called Susan Rosen Diamond Bikini. The most expensive piece of diamond apparel ever made debuts in the 2006 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
Designed by Susan Rosen, who worked with Steinmetz Diamonds to create the luxurious bikini, the piece is priced at $30 million.
It has over 150 carats of D Flawless diamonds, some of them are the rarest in the world. Diamonds like the 51ct D Flawless Pear Shape, the 30ct D Flawless Emerald Cut, a pair of 15ct D Flawless Rounds and a pair of 8ct D Flawless Pear Shapes.
The D colored stones are set in platinum and the other stones are flawless, with no inclusions, or nature’s birthmarks.
No wonder the Diamond Bikini has a price that high.
