4. OK! Magazine’s Cover of Demi Moore’s wedding with Ashton Kutcher: $3 million
Another one by OK! Magazine. They got their cover set up by paying $3 million to get exclusive pictures of the intimate ceremony, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore had.
The people were curious about them, and because there was a 15 year age difference between the two, everybody wanted to see how the intimate ceremony looked like.
And what other magazine better than OK! Magazine to take them? For $3 million, OK! Magazine had the exclusive rights to take awesome pictures for the cover and an interview of the couple.
But Ashton and Demi didn’t keep the money, they donated the $3 million to a charitable foundation called Habitat for Humanity and to the victims of Hurricane Katrina and Rita.
The couple got married in September 2005 in Beverly Hills during a brief and traditional ceremony attended by 100 guests, an event that was kept secret until OK! published the pictures.
