#6 1955 300SL – $4.6 Million
Originally designed as a race car, this 1955 300SL Mercedes is one of the most expensive Mercedes Cars in the world.
This magnificent vehicle was produced between 1952 and 1953, while the production models were made between 1953 and 1962.
Although the period was long, only a couple of thousand were made. And of course, nowadays there are only a few left, hence the enormous $4.6 million price tag.
This 1955 300SL car boasts gull-wings that are available on the coupe model, obviously.
Moreover, when the car was produced it was believed to be the fastest car in the world. Nowadays doesn’t hold that title anymore, of course, but it is still one of the best cars Mercedes has made.
