#4 1928 680S Torpedo Roadster – $8.25 Million
For this car Mercedes-Benz collaborated with French auto-body manufacturer Saoutchik. Mercedes-Benz came up with the idea, while the French came up with the materials. Sort of.
Manufactured in 1928, the Torpedo is a fine looking car, as you can expect from a car made by two of the greatest car companies.
However, their collaboration didn’t last long and only twelve vehicles were made by Saoutchik. We believe its rarity adds a bit of an impressive allure to this model, don’t you agree?
As expected from a rare car, it has been auctioned by Canada-based RM Auctions in California and sold for $8.25 million dollars price tag back in 2013.
