Our #2 is another masterpiece made by Giuseppe Guarneri.
Created in 1741, Vieuxtemps Guarneri has been played by famous masters such as Pinchas Zukerman, Yehudi Menuhin and Itzhak Perlman.
Famous owners include Sir Issac Wolfson and Ian Stouzker.
Although the violin was sold for a price that has not been disclosed, the base price was fixed at $18 million.
