Created by Peter Morgan exclusively for Netflix, this series is a forthcoming television drama, a biographical story about the British royal family.
The first season is yet to premiere in 2016, and will have 13 hour-long episodes.
Yes, we know, this series is still on production and it even hasn’t premiered yet, but the cost estimates, for the upcoming series, at around $25 million per season.
The Crown is a complex show, and along with the story of the Queen Elizabeth II, the series will also include the broader goings-on of Buckingham Palace, as well.
And will give viewers a perspective about how England was defined throughout the latter half of the 20th century.
