Designed by Hans J. Wegner, the chair is the result of the Consultant, Professor and Doctor of Medicine and PhD Egill Snorrason’s critique.
However, in his critique, Egill Snorrason had actually pointed out that the chair was in fact an ergonomically correct exception to the rule.
Wegner’s chair features a frame made from silver soldered stainless steel which includes an adjustment mechanism enabling the user to adjust the height of the chair.
The seat comes in leather or fabric while the top rail comes in oak, ash, mahogany or cherry.
