Taking the 9th place is a district in Tokyo, considered the most ancient part of the city.
Otemachi is located on a formed ancient village called Shibazaki but today the place is know to be the center of the Japanese journalism.
With a price of 1590 $ per square meter, the place houses the Japan Postal Museum, some of the most important companies in the country and also the Tokyo Fire Department Japan Meteorological Agency.
Being a key financial center and a well known business center, Otemachi, is fully private and all the building are new.
The place was sold to the private area and nothing was kept from the old village that housed lavish daimyo residences.
