9.1949 Oscar for Color Direction in “Little Women” – Price:$154,962
We’ve got another literary classic next on the list.
The movie “Little Women” was released back in 1949 and tells the stories of four sisters from 1860 – Meg, Jo, Amy, Beth and their mother, how they grew up and followed their paths in life while their father was fighting in the civil war.
The movie is quite interesting though and it succeeded to win an Oscar for Best Color Direction.
Given the fact that it was one of the last Oscar statuettes that were left on the market, it should come as no surprise that the 1949 Oscar was auctioned for no less than $154,962.
We all know what a rare piece means on the market.
