The Academy Award-winning actress hit the Oscars 2014 red carpet wearing the night’s most expensive ensemble. The romantic cap-sleeve dress features a long, flared tulle skirt with crinoline edging, fully embroidered with raised dégradé sequins and light gold Swarovski crystal baguettes.
The “Blue Jasmine” actress wore jewelry by Chopard, including a pair of earrings set with 62 opals in white gold.
She also wore a brown 49-carats diamond bracelet and a pear-shaped 4 carat diamond ring, both also from Chopard, bringing the total cost of her jewelry to approximately $18 million.
The milky white of the opal earrings and the softer sparkle of brown diamonds were the perfect accompaniment to her attention-grabbing dress.
