6. Montblanc Mystery Masterpiece ($730,000)
Two giant names of the luxury industry, Montblanc and Van Cleef & Arpels, worked together to create this beautiful Limited Edition Mystery Masterpiece pen. It was made to celebrate the respective completion for their 100 years of success.
This pen is so special that it took more than one year to complete. And it was done not just by one skilled artisan. Since it takes that much time and effort to make, there were only nine of them made.
Those nine pens are divided into three categories of models based on the additional gems added to create different color scheme. Those categories are rubies (which you see on the picture), sapphires, and emeralds.
All of these pens are beautified with eight hundreds diamonds besides those variation gems. Whichever you choose, you need to spend $730,000 to own one. That price tag exceeds some of the most expensive SUVs’ in the world!
