3. Clive Christian Imperial Majesty ($12,722 per fl. oz.)
Clive Christian Imperial Majesty perfume went straight to the top of world’s most expensive ranking ladder when it was introduced in 2006. To set such a major world record, you need to go big. This perfume did exactly that, literally.
It can only be bought in a large 16.9-fl.oz. bottle. So, whoever decides to stock up on the finest perfume in the world needs to visit the bank for almost a quarter million dollars ($215,000 to be exact). In this case, it is worth around $12,722 per fluid ounce.
Clive Christian assigned Baccarat to design the exclusive bottle. It is the replica of Clive Christian No. 1 for men perfume, but bigger and better. Its robust neckline is made of 18K gold and beautified by a 5-carat stone in the center.
There were only ten of them made. And one anonymous buyer, a Chinese business man, took more than one of them home.
In terms of scent, it is basically Clive Christian No. 1 perfume: woody oriental.
