Clive Christian 1872 comes in two options: for men and for women. They are made by Geza Schoen, one of the world renowned perfume inventors. Each one-fl.oz. bottle of Clive Christian 1872 pure perfume is sold for $2,750. It is also available in Eau de Parfum edition which is in bigger bottle and at cheaper price.
What do these fragrances smell like?
Let’s start with the one for men. Its main accords are citrus, aromatic, and fresh spices. Its base scent is Virginia cedar, patchouli, amber, and musk with notes of cyclamen and clary sage. But the top notes are all kinds of citrus from grapefruit, lime, bergamot, and mandarin.
As for the one for women, it has woody, floral, and citrus main accords. Its base notes are sandalwood, patchouli, oakmoss, and guaiac wood. In addition, it is complemented by a combination of fruits (blueberry, pineapple, amalfi lemon, and tangerine) and flowers (rose, freesia, jasmine, orchid, and osmanthus).
