2.John Lennon’s Steinway & Sons Model Z-$2.37 million
This is the piano that John Lennon used to compose his signature track “Imagine”!
Initially bought in 1970 by Lennon as a gift for his wife with just $2,456 ,the piano was later won by another British pop star,George Michael, for $2.37 million.
Michael jokingly said that it’s “the cheapest-looking piano you’ve ever seen”. The new owner of the Model Z sent it to the Beatles Story Museum in Liverpool for public display.
