4. Breguet Antique Number 2667 – 4.7 million dollars
So by now you figured it out, the pocket watch industry has 2 giants, one of them is the Swatch-owned group founded by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1775.
Created in 1814 this particular item was made out of 18 carat yellow gold and has two oscillating bodies next to each other.
The design is very rare because the watch maker wanted to test something new, to see of the two oscillating bodies could influence each other.
The Two movement pocket watch is one of the more expensive pocket watches ever made by Breguet and was created around the chronometer, putting together some movements to impress the wealthy pocket watch owners of the era.
With an approximate value of almost 5 million dollars the watch was sold with another “brother” of his, the pair rising the bar up to 7.5 million dollars, the proud new owner having in his possession some fine, unique and luxury pocket watches.
