1.City of Stars – $5.5 billion
I guess you all know that Sharm el Sheikh is an extremely luxurious place, and what better way to scream opulence than a $5.5 billion dollar pool?
Crystal Lagoons, the same builders behind the San Alfonso del Mar overdid themselves and built what is known to be the largest pool in the world, and the most expensive, of course.
Stretching over more that 21 acres, the pool is part of the City of Stars resort complex, and was designed to be surrounded by 30.000 condos and hotel rooms.
The pool was designed to be one kilometer larger than the last largest pool in the world.
Visitors can swim or sail in the pool (yes, it’s so large you can actually sail in it)
These were the most expensive pools in the world!
