The most expensive restaurant meal we could price from an official source is Sublimotion in Ibiza, at 1,650 euros per person (about $1,900), with Masa in New York next at $950. We ranked seven restaurants by the per-person price on their own menus, terms pages or booking pages, as of October 2026. Prices are before tip and, unless noted, before drinks. Dollar figures are our conversions at about $1.17 per euro, $0.157 per Danish krone and 150 yen to the dollar, so treat them as approximate.

1. Sublimotion, Ibiza: 1,650 euros
Chef Paco Roncero’s Sublimotion is a 10-course show with premium drinks, served to a single table of 12 inside the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza. The restaurant’s terms list a price of 1,650 euros per guest with tax, and say it opens from 1 June to 30 September. A 50 percent deposit is taken at booking.
The terms page is undated, so check the current season price before you plan.
How we valued it: the restaurant’s own terms page.
2. Masa, New York: $950
Masa’s menu page lists a dinner omakase at $750 per person at a table and $950 at the sushi counter. Lunch starts at $495. Drinks, tax and tip are extra. A booking page shows a Chef’s Reserve counter option with a $1,200 deposit per person, but we treat that as a deposit and not a full price.
How we valued it: the menu on Masa’s own site, undated.
3. Guy Savoy, Paris: 760 euros
Guy Savoy, in the Monnaie de Paris, lists its “Colours, Textures and Flavours” set menu at 760 euros for the whole table, drinks excluded. A lunch menu called “Keep it simple” is 295 euros, or 410 euros with four glasses of wine. Older menus show 680 euros, so the price has risen.
How we valued it: Guy Savoy’s own site.
4. Sazenka, Tokyo: JPY 132,000
Sazenka is a teppanyaki restaurant in Tokyo’s Hotel Okura. Its booking page lists a special course with Shanghai crab and selected ingredients at JPY 132,000 per guest, tax included, plus a service charge of 10 percent in the dining room or 15 percent in a private room. Its standard degustation courses start lower.
The booking page notes that prices can change with the market.
How we valued it: taken from the course price on its reservation page.
5. Alchemist, Copenhagen: DKK 5,600
Rasmus Munk’s Alchemist lists its standard Alchemist Experience at DKK 5,600 per person on its own site, before drinks. Its Sommelier Table is DKK 17,000 and the Curtain Call with wine pairing is DKK 18,000, which would put them above the Masa price. A 2.5 percent service fee applies.
We rank the standard experience, because it is the price most guests pay.
How we valued it: Guy Savoy’s own site.
6. Ciel Bleu, Amsterdam: from 550 euros
Ciel Bleu, on the top floor of Hotel Okura, lists its Signature Experience from 550 euros per person. It is an eight-course menu with a welcome glass of champagne and seven wines. The Chef’s Table for 4 to 9 guests starts from 275 euros per person.
How we valued it: the hotel’s own page.
7. Per Se, New York: $425
Per Se’s booking page lists its Main Dining Room tasting menu at $425 per person, with a deposit taken in advance. The East Room experience is $500, but it is a private room. The same restaurant has listed $310 on another booking page, so check the price on the day.
How we valued it: booking-page price, which we could not date; hedged.
Restaurants we left out
We dropped Urasawa in Beverly Hills, which a 2026 dining guide describes as closed, and Aragawa, Kitcho and Le Cinq, whose standard tasting prices we could not open on an official page. Le Cinq’s special menus on its hotel site run to 480 euros and a Valentine’s dinner of 965 euros.
What drives these prices
- One table, one show. Sublimotion seats 12 guests per night, so each seat carries a high price.
- Drinks inside the price. Several top prices include wine or champagne.
- Rare ingredients. Crab, sea urchin and wagyu are priced at market.
- Service fees. Some Tokyo and Copenhagen prices add 10 to 15 percent or 2.5 percent on top.
