This Nigerian footballer knows how to travel in style. Obafemi Martis, who plays as a forward for Seattle Sounders FC and the Nigeria national team, is famous for his speed on the ball.
At age 16he left Nigeria for Italy, and since then he has played for a number of top-division clubs from all around Europe.
2002 was the year he began his senior career, at the Italian Serie A club Inter Milan, and then moved to the English Premier League club in Newcastle in 2006. The German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg in 2009 followed.
But he is now settling for MLS’ Seattle Sounders which can only mean the financial part if going really good for him.
Because he is used to play with speed, he found a way to duplicate that. He paid over $378,000 on his N50M Lamborghini.
