The film is an adaptation of the 2005 James Sallis novel ‘Drive’, with a screenplay by Hossein Amini.
With a budget of only $15 million, the film grossed worldwide $76.175 million, being nominated for ‘Best Film’ and ‘Best Director’ at the 2012 British Academy Film Awards.
