In its first weekend, the film grossed $26.654 million at the US box office, grossing $115.654 million in US and $136.706 million worldwide.
Not to mention, ‘Remember the Titans’ was nominated many times and won several awards, such as BET Awards 2001 for ‘Best Actor’ (Denzel Washington), 2001 BMI Film & TV Awards for ‘Film Music Award’, 2001 Casting Society of America Awards for ‘Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture’ (Denzel Washington), 2001 Political Film Society Awards for ‘Human Rights’ and 22nd Young Artists Awards for ‘Best Performance in a Feature Film – Supporting Young Actress’ (Hayden Panettiere).
As you can see, Ryan Gosling didn’t get an award this time. Still, one of his best movies.
