1. Maltese Falcon ($150 million – $300 million)
We are wrapping up this list with Perini Navi’s biggest sailboat, Maltese Falcon. It is also the second largest in the world, measuring 88 meters.
This ship-rigged sailing luxury yacht was built for and owned by the late American venture capitalist, Tom Perkins. Back in 2007, during an interview, Perkins suggested that it cost more than $150 million, and less than $300 million. Since he refused to be more specific, we could only speculate.
Now, it is owned by Elena Ambrosiadou. It can carry up to twelve guests. And to cater those guests’ needs, twenty two crews can get on board. In terms of power, it can take you up to 24 knots on water.
Maltese Falcon’s exterior was designed by Perini Navi and Gerard Dijksrta, and the interior was by Ken Freivokh. To match this high priced boat’s sophisticated technology, Freivokh combined high-tech and industrial chic theme in its interior design.
