Armstrong’s famous statement was written on the plan, so it means that its statement had a big part to play when they auctioned the flight plan for $152,000.
His famous words marked on the flight plan were, “One small step for a man—one giant leap for mankind.” The flight plan was sold at a Bonhams auction in 2010.
