Named after its founder, Don Julio Gonzalez-Frausto Estrada who began distilling tequila in 1942 at age 17, Don Julio Tequila is the result of decades of hard work in the pursuit of the perfect tequila.
It is one one of the first ultra-premium tequilas and a good choice to share with family and friends.
Produced in the depths of Guadalajara, Don Julio Real is made using handpicked 7- to 10-year-old Blue Agave. Then the liquor is aged in American white oak barrels for 3 to 5 years where it acquires its signature vanilla flavors.
Don Julio Real comes in a decanter-style bottle with a high end; a symbol of luxury tequila, and is embellished with silver agave leaves, as you can see in the image.
