Being one of the most expensive watches in the world, the Patek Philippie SuperComplication Gold Pocket Watch is worth $11 million.
The watch took 5 years to be designed and build, and was commissioned by Henry Graves, in a competition on who can own the most complicated watch. The very costly timepiece has 24 complications (mechanical features) including a different chronological function for each hour of the day and a minute repeater whose chimes played the same melody heard in London’s Big Ben.
The Patek Philippie SuperComplication Gold Pocket Watch is made of 18-karat solid gold and comes complete with a skyline of New York City with the magnitudes of the stars and the Milky Way.
