Also known as the ‘Red Gold Dream’, the most expensive tuned car in the world features a supercharged 5.4-litre engine boosting from 640 hp to 999 hp, giving it a top speed of more than 210mph.
The McLaren SLR 999 was designed by Swiss businessman Ueli Anliker and was embellished with 500 rubies and gold. It also features 24-karat gold plated wheels, golden door sills and gold plated headlight surrounds.
In addition to all this luxury, like it wasn’t enough, its interior boasts jeweled indicators, gold trimmed steering wheel and ruby-covered switchgear.
The $9 million masterpiece was ready in 30.000 hours; 35 men working on it.
