Here are 15 Most Expensive TVs in the World

12. Sharp LV-85001 ($133,000)

We move on to one of the best products from what is known as a Japanese electronics company, Sharp. Although it has been an integral part of Taiwan-based Foxconn Group this year.

They are selling this Sharp LV-85001 TV for $133,000 each since it was first shown to public at Consumers Electronics Show (CES), 2012. We had to wait for three years from that day before we could actually take one of these home and install it in our luxury living room.

This is the first ever 8K TV on the world’s market. Unfortunately, there is no 8K TV broadcast yet. If NHK Japan kept its promise, this type of broadcast will be available in 2018. In the meantime, this TV is used for professional purposes such as displaying media contents until that day comes.

Remember what I said about laying your hands on exclusive products before your other millionaire friends do? Even though this TV is practically cannot be used for its main purpose, people still buy it. And that is one of the reasons why.

Or perhaps, its liquid crystal display and Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO) technology are just too irresistible to those luxury enthusiasts. Are you one of them?
