Sarah Lawrence College is a private liberal arts college in Southern Westchester County, New York. It is known for the high standard education marked by a highly individualized course of study. In 1926, this college was founded by William van Duzer Lawrence on the same year when his wife passed away. Thus, he named it Sarah Lawrence College, after his late wife.

Prior to 1968, only women could enroll to this college. But even so, until today, this college still carries the image of women education. This is proven by the ratio of women and men enrollment: 72:28.

The tuition fee for any undergraduate programs of 2016/2017 academic year in Sarah Lawrence College is $51,196. In my opinion, this is a good deal since more than 90% of this college’s classes have less than 20 students.

Some of this college’s popular alumni are¬†Sigourney Weaver, Barbara Walters, J.J. Abrams, and Vera Wang.
