In 2005, the business tycoon Donald Trump married Slovenian model, Melanie Knauss and of course, as we all expected, it was an event of huge proportions.
Melanie wore a Christian Dior wedding dress that takes your breath away and I think we all saw that when she appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine wearing the dress.
But I’m telling you, this was not an easy dress to wear. It has 300 feet of luxurious satin and 13 foot train embroidered in 550 hours! The whole dress weights 50 pounds, so we can all understand why she changed into another dress right after the bride and groom dance.
But don’t worry, I’m sure the Christian Dior dress was a bargain, given the fact that only the engagement ring itself was 1.5 million dollars!
