You’ve seen the most expensive Google acquisitions and we said that a special list for Yahoo had to be done.

If you weren’t aware, Yahoo! is a public corporation founded by Stanford University graduate students Jerry Yang and David Filo in 1994.

Since October 2007, the global network of Yahoo! receives 3.4 billion page views per day on average, making it one of the most visited US websites.

So, it’s no surprise that they’ve purchased some expensive companies in order to expand their “territory” in the technology world.

10. BlueLithium: $300 million

The tenth most expensive Yahoo acquisition is BlueLithium.

The online advertising network, founded by Gurbaksh Chahal in January 2004 was purchased by Yahoo in September 2007.

BlueLithium service is intended to join behavioral targeting with advanced data analytics to improve campaign optimization over a global advertising network
