Zimbra is a groupware product created by Zimbra, Inc which is located in Palo Alto, California, United States.
Zimbra’s name was derived from the song “I Zimbra” by Talking Heads. Yahoo purchased Zimbra in 2010 for $350 million.
The company released Zimbra in 2005, as a collaboration software suite that includes an email server and web client.
Later, Yahoo sold it to VMware on January 12, 2010.
