Built in October 28, 2009 and costing $1.4 billion dollars, Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas started to sail on December 1st, 2009. 18 decks which fits 5,400 passengers plus a crew formed by 2,160 members.
Like most cruise ships, this amazing boat offers everyting that one could ever dream of.
Night clubs, bars, lounges, a mini golf course, 5 swimming pools, basketball and volleyball courts, theme parks and nurseries for children.
What’s amazing is that it has his own CentralPark- the first living park at sea with over 56 trees and12,000 plants.
The mother of all ships, is Royal Caribbean’s revolutionary, with 16-deck ship the Oasis of the Seas. This one sets the record as both the most expensive and largest cruise ship ever built.
Why the largest ? Because measures in at 1,181 feet, the Oasis is known as the colossal feat of maritime engineering. Restaurants, shops and attractions are everywhere. The outdoor Aqua Theatre will surprise you with acrobatic diving shows.
