Located on Manhattan’s Uppser East Side, Lenox Hill Hospital is now more famous after the birth of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s child, Blue Ivy.
Founded in 1857 as the German Dispensary, Lenox Hill Hospital offers 652 beds, spread on 10 buildings.
With exquisite suites decorated with mahogany walls, kitchenette, hardwood floors, fancy linens, and even a concierge, a maternity room can cost up to $2.500 per day.
Rumors said that Beyonce and Jay-Z spent $1.3 million to rent the entire floor.
Apparently, that was false, as the hospital’s director claimed that the celebrities were accomodated in an executive suite. And you can see that suite in the photos below.
