4. Slovenia
Here we are at number four, and taking its spot in the most peaceful countries on Earth is Slovenia!
With a population of 2.05 million and covering a surface of 20,273 square kilometers, Slovenia is a nation state in southern Central Europe.
Member of the European Union and NATO, the number four on our Top 10 Most Peaceful Countries in the World, has a very low level of organized internal conflicts, violent protests, and number of internal and external wars fought.
Due to that factors and several others, it was ranked by the Global Peace Index, as one of the most peaceful countries in the world.
