2. Norway
Here we are at the number two of the most peaceful countries in the world, and yes, it’s Norway!
With a population of approximately 5,109,059 people and a total area of 385,252 square kilometres, the Kingdom of Norway is a Scandinavian unitary constitutional monarchy.
Probably most of you didn’t expect to see Norway this high in the top, and that’s mainly because of the recent famous mass-murderer Anders Behring Breivik.
But in spite of that isolated incident, and according to the Global Peace Index, Norway is one of the world’s most peaceful countries in the world, and a safe place to live in.
And let’s not forget that Norway is the country with the highest level of human development in the globe.
