Ginni Rometty is an amazing 57-year-old woman, the Chairman, CEO and President of tech giant International Business Machines Corporation, commonly known as IBM.
Although IBM went through some struggling times for the past couple of years as the company dropped 5% to $99.8 billion in fiscal 2013, Ginni’s got some backup plans. And they seem to work because the revenue increased with 69% in areas like mobile and cloud services.
She also sealed some strategic deals with Apple and is planning to invest $1 billion in the development of the cognitive computing system that seems to be the future growth area for the company.
This is a smart woman with a very well defined future plan.
