7.Irene Rosenfeld – Chairman and CEO at Mondelez International
Things don’t look so bright for this one.
Irene Rosenfeld is 61 years old and Chairman and CEO of Mondelez International, one of the largest snacks companies in the world at the moment.
Although 2013 was a pretty good year as the company’s sales and profits were boosted by 1% and 28%, hard times are coming along the way.
It seems that low consumer spending and the pressure from shareholder Nelson Peltz are bringing Irene down.
But you can imagine that this is a woman with a plan, so she’s going to cut $1.5 billion in costs for the next four years. I bet she knows exactly what she’s doing!
