Don’t you just love Christmas Eve? The warm feeling, the home, the family, and of course, and let’s be honest,the gifts. Who doesn’t love gifts? I love on Christmas Eve to stay home with my family and see what’s on TV that night. And what else can it be besides Home Alone? If you ask me, it gets kinda boring to watch the same movie every year. So, here’s a list of other movies that you can watch on Christmas Eve. And let us know which one is your favorite.
#10 The Polar Express
The movie is from 2004 and it’s based on the book for children with the same title written by Chris Van Allsburg. The Polar Express is about a little boy who has a lifetime adventure aboard a magic train which is heading to the North Pole. The action happens on Christmas Eve.
#9 Just Friends
The story is about a man who comes visiting his hometown during Christmas and he sees his first love. They were best friends back in highschool. Of course, he wanted something else, but her rejection turned him 10 years later into a hot, ferocious womanizer.
#8 Bad Santa
The story is about a man and his partner who pose as Santa Claus and his helper and want to rob a store on Christmas Eve. Along the way, they run into troubles when the man’s friend and the security boss discovers the plot.
#7 Snow Dogs
The story is about a dentist from Miami who inherits a team of sled dogs from his deceased mother. The problem is that he has to learn the craft or he will lose the team. And those dogs are definitely not something you’ll want to let go.
#6 How the Grinch Stole Christmas
We all know this movie. It’s really a must see movie on Christmas Eve. The story is simple. As the name suggests, it about Grinch who stole Christmas. This American fantasy comedy is based on the 1957 book of the same name written by Dr. Seuss.
#5 Elf
I like this movie. A man raised by an elf at the North Pole goes to US to find his true family. The problem is, he really thinks he’s an elf.
#4 Jingle all the way
We all know how crazy it is to go shopping a day before Christmas. Almost impossible to get exactly what you want. Well, a father decides to get a Turbo Man action figure for his son right before Christmas. By all means.
#3 Santa Buddies
The Buddies are just adorable ! Puppy Paws, the son of Santa Paws, finds Budderball on the Santa’s naughty list, so he went to Buddies hometown and tries to be an ordinary dog. The magical Christmas Icicle begins to melt because the world starts to forget the true meaning of Christmas, so Puppy Paws and the Buddies start their journey back to North Pole to save Christmas.

Reese Witherspoon and her partner Vince Vaughin have to visit all four of their divorced parents on Christmas Day. See if they managed.
#1 Home Alone
So this is our #1 on the must see movies on Christmas Eve list. It’s a must. On Christmas Eve, you can watch Home Alone on almost all the TV programs. And you all know the story. 8-year-old Kevin McCallister is left behind by accident and his family flies to Paris for their Christmas vacation. At first, he was excited that he is home alone, but later the things get complicated. He has to defend his home against 2 burglars. And boy, he’s doing a very good job.
