Only The Rich Will Buy The New Lamborghini Smartphone
Only rich people with a lot of money can actually afford to buy the new Lamborghini smartphone.
Tonino Lamborghini is a manufacturer of luxury items such as watches, accessories and smartphones. Company name Lamborghini comes from its founder Tonino, whose late father Ferruccio Lamborghini founded the Lamborgini car company.
However, Tonino Group has no connections to the automaker, now part of the Volkswagen Group.
For an item to be worthy enough to have the Lamborghini logo, it needs to have three things: style, performance and to be expensive.
Now that their new smartphone has all the three ingredients it is ready to hit the market.
At Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas 2015, Tonino Lamborghini Mobile was showing everyone their new 88 Tauri Android-powered smartphone. With $6,000 at its price tag, the phone surely meets the last criteria.
The smartphone has all the qualifications of a luxury phone, such as premium build using automotive grade stainless steel, hand-stitched leather, and it is gold-plated.
If you want your leather to have a specific color, you can choose from some different colors, including black, brown, red, orange, and blue.
When it was released the phone got mixed reviews but if you have $6,000 lying around, you should definitely buy this phone.
Because having a lot of money gives you the opportunity to buy all kind of expensive things and it is not all about big houses and private jets.
It is also about the little things, less expensive such as this smartphone. It is true, no phone should be this expensive, that’s why you only buy one because you can.
Let’s talk some specs now.
The 88 Tauri uses slightly outdated 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.
Stitched in calfskin the 88 Tauri has a 5-inch (1080p) display that’s encased in the same shatterproof glass that is used to make the Lamborghini cars.
It also has a 20-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel selfie shooter, a 3,400mAh battery, 64GB of internal storage, a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM and dual LTE SIM functionality.
Moreover, it comes with 13 exclusive ringtones created by “famed disc jockey and producer DJ Ravin.”
The phone was designed in Italy of course, and features the famous raging bull logo which was inspired by the Taurus constellation.
Only 1947 Tonino Lamborghini Tauri 88 phones will be built, each costing $6,000. In case you were wondering, Antonio “Tonino” Lamborghini is the son of Ferruccio, the founder of Lamborghini, and was born in 1947.
If it wasn’t clear until now, this isn’t a gadget aimed for the regular people. It was specially designed for wealthy gentlemen.
And now the important question: Would You Buy It?
