11. Sometimes It is Overrated
Nowadays, people tend to put a price tag on everything, including a really expensive yacht. The word “expensive” is already bad, and the word “really” makes it even worse.
The question you need to ask yourself before buying a really expensive yacht is whether you have really considered your financial situation. Most people don’t do that, especially when it comes to luxury things they have dreamed of having.
When it is worth it, your argument is valid. But how often you can really say that those millions of dollar worth a single luxury thing?
Sometimes, those luxury yachts are just overrated. They are just like luxurious houses. One may be more expensive than the other even though they are actually quite similar. If you don’t really understand the real value, you will end up paying a lot more than you should.
