8. The Insurance Rate is High
Luxurious things should come with insurance. The more expensive they are, the higher insurance rate you have to pay. Of course, it also depends on what it covers.
If you think that not insuring your yacht is an easy way out, you are wrong. A yacht needs insurance more than any other luxurious things you can own. Because even when you just dock it at the harbor or keep it in a storage unit, bad things may happen.
