The next famous naked dress is the one Rose McGowan wore in 1998, at the MTV Video Music Awards.
McGowan is an Italian-born American actress and singer. She played Paige Matthews in the drama series Charmed, and was a guest programmer and co-host of The Essentials.
In 1998, she was in the press’ attention, after wearing a very revealing naked dress, which can also stand as a very revealing nothing.
Some said she wore basically nothing, some admired her courage, and a lot critiqued her for… well, for wearing that dress.
The fishnet dress was definitely a huge (and by huge I mean colossal) fashion statement, which did not cover a lot.
Her breasts were “on display”, but she at least wore a pair of dark “naked” underwear to cover up.
