3. William Hanna and Joseph Barbera – Net Worth: $300 Million
When I was younger I used to watch The Flintstones all the time.
The guys that created the show are no longer among us, but according to People.com their estimated net worth today would be around 300 million.
They met in the late 30s while working at MGM. After, William and Joseph formed a partnership and become writing partners.
In the ‘40s, they created one of the most successful cartoons of all time, Tom and Jerry. Then they moved into television and created shows like The Ruff and Reddy Show, Yogi Bear and The Huckleberry Hound Show.
The two then realized that more adults were watching their cartoons and came with The Flintstones animated series.
The series had its original run from September 30, 1960 to April 1, 1966.
