The french make their second apperance in this top this time in the first 4 banks in the world.
With assets of almost 2.6 trillion dollars the French BNP Paribas is one of the biggest banks in the Euro zone having the headquarters in Paris and a second big one in London.
The Parisian bank is a merger between Banque Nationale de Paris and Paribas witch lunched the group as one of the largest companies in France.
This alliance was made in 2000 and created a work environment for over 200.000 employes, the bank being present in the sponsorship of Roland Garros and also the holder of almost 75% of an important Belgian bank.
The next in our top was so close to number 4, the bank detaching its self by a couple of million dollars in assets.
